Andriel Nuernberg
Full stack Elixir engineer
I’m Andriel. I’ve been writing software since 2005 and doing web work professionally since 2013. Ruby and Rails for most of the early years, then Elixir took over. I’ve been full time on Elixir, Phoenix and LiveView since 2019, and I was already messing around with the first LiveView releases back then.
I still do plenty of backend work, that part never went away, but lately most of my focus has shifted to how things look and feel. Design engineering, basically. That’s where Fluxon UI came from, a component library for LiveView that doesn’t make your app look like a PHP admin panel from 2003.
I also spend more time on infrastructure than I probably should. SSHing into servers, writing YAML for Ansible, poking at Terraform, setting up a whole Grafana stack just to stare at the dashboards. So I self host everything I build.

Projects
Fluxon UI
A component library for Phoenix LiveView. Overlays, form controls and data entry that behave the way people expect.
Annotai
A dev-only annotation widget for Phoenix/LiveView. Click an element on the running page, leave a note, and your coding agent gets the selector and the HEEx file and line.
pg-ulid
ULID generation for PostgreSQL as a native extension, giving sortable, compact identifiers without a round trip to the application.
